Photo Filter Factory allows you to apply several filters to your image files. It supports multiple formats, including BMP, GIF, JPG and PNG.
The interface of the app is dull and uncomplicated. Pictures can be imported with the help of the folder view, since the 'drag and drop' function is not supported. Processing multiple items in batch mode is possible.
So, the program lets you add multiple filters which revolve around abstract, aged paper, water drops, cool metal and chess board, among others.
You can select one of the available presets or configure settings when it comes to the hot pixel noise remover, local equalization, vibrations and others.
Photo Filter Factory also lets you use some basic painting tools, like eye dropper, pencil, line, text, word art, rectangle and fill. Additionally, you can copy the canvas, apply other effects (e.g. fade, blur, emboss, rounded glass, pond ripple), enable framing (e.g. dark light, raised, lowered) and run scripts (e.g. blue paper, granite frame).
The program uses a low amount of system resources, has a good response time and includes help contents. No errors have occurred during our tests and Photo Filter Factory did not freeze or crash. Less experienced users may take some time to get familiarized with all the features provided by Photo Filter Factory. Its interface needs some improvements.
